I Said If! 2
Tang Moyu's car stopped at the parking space of Shenzhen International School. Since her little buns were bilingual and were used to western culture, she and Feng Tianyi decided to enroll them in an international school instead of the local kindergarten Lu Tianxin had suggested before.
Thankfully, Li Meili and Gu Yuyao raised these points and the two were able to consider their options. Tang Moyu was able to enroll her twins just in time and the school allowed them to take the assessment test beforehand.
Their annual school fees had a whooping price of forty thousand US Dollars, but Tang Moyu didn't mind spending that much as she had already prepared the funds she would need for her twins' schooling.
They had this discussion a few days ago. Feng Tianyi wanted to pay a share of the fee, but the empress insisted him not to. They were her children and it's her responsibility to send them to school. In fact, she had a trust fund set up each for Xiao Bao and Little Star after she'd given birth to them.
One of the reasons she'd been working hard was to make sure they wouldn't have to worry about where to get money to sustain their education. At the moment, Tang Moyu was able to raise their trust funds up to twenty billion US dollars.
"That much in just four years?" Feng Tianyi teased her when he found out how much she'd put in so far.
"Still not enough. You will never know what could happen in the future." Tang Moyu responded. Twenty billion may sound like a lot of money right now, but there was no guarantee that it would be the same in the future.
"Are you sure you don't want me to help?" He asked one afternoon.
Tang Moyu shook her head.
"Money isn't an issue…" She sighed softly and rested her head on his arm, his lips leaning forward to kiss her crown. "I don't want you to think that's the reason I'm keeping you around."
"I don't." He hummed and watched the twins giggled and laughed over the new school uniforms they had yet to try on.
"Everything I have given you so far were expensive and sentimental gifts that remind me of you. You've been begging me nonstop not to spend another dime on you." He grinned.
The empress scoffed at that.
"Because I'm not interested in those things. I can buy them myself if ever I want one. In fact, if I'm only after your money, I would have already demanded you to give me all your cards and let me have access to all your accounts."
Feng Tianyi blinked before letting a low laugh.
"If that's what you want, then who am I to deny you? I'll give you all my cards later. I'll also let you have access on my bank accounts. As for my PIN it's…." But even before he could tell her the numbers, Tang Moyu already pulled away from him, leapt forward and covered his mouth with both hands.
"I don't need it! I don't want it!" She exclaimed.
"What? I thought you wanted it?" He retorted before laughing, seeing her ugly expression. Tang Moyu was really cute whenever she was annoyed with him.
"I said IF! IF! I didn't say I want all of it! Aren't you afraid that I would rob all your money and run away with my children?" She scoffed and crossed her arms over her chest.
The devil feigned his shock and furrowed his brows.
"What? I didn't think my wifey would suck me dry like that. If it was a different type of sucking, I would surely welcome it." He said with a grin.
"..."
The empress said nothing in return as she was oblivious of what he meant by that.
Seeing her reaction, Feng Tianyi turned his face away, covering his mouth with one hand and weeped inwardly.
Ah, his wifey was too innocent. Way too innocent! He suddenly felt bad for teasing her like this. He was such a big bad wolf who wanted to corrupt the innocent bunny in front of him.
But he was the devil, ah. So it was only natural for him to tease her. Too bad, Tang Moyu couldn't understand his sly innuendoes. If she did, Feng Tianyi would no doubt receive a fierce glare or a hit on his head for suggesting such things to her.
"Moyu… I don't mind if you take everything off me." He feigned his innocence, acting like some kind of a consort, trying to win the favor of her king.
The empress understood what he was implying this time. She felt a vein ready to pop on her forehead, she clenched her fist under the table as she tried to convince herself not to hit Feng Tianyi's head.
'Calm down, Moyu. You don't have to add more injuries on his broken body.' She told herself.
"Continue saying such words, Tianyi. I assure you, your third leg will be useless too." Her eyes turned into slits as she looked at him.
At that threat, Feng Tianyi gasped before making a zipping motion over his mouth and acted like he'd done nothing.
Tang Moyu tried her best not to roll her eyes at his antics. He was getting bolder these days. There were times when she found herself itching to give his head a good smack so he would behave, especially in front of her little buns.
Today was the first day of school. Feng Tianyi had come with them and helped the little buns unbuckle from their carseats before taking his cane, stepping outside the car.
With his continuous therapy sessions, he was able to walk a few meters with his cane. He and Moyu didn't need to go inside the school anyway. They were just dropping the twins off.
