I Said If! 1
Tang Moyu was dumbfounded that he was able to convince her son on the first try while she had to suffer several failed attempts before this. Even though she had already tried all the possible reasonings and methods she could think of, her son still denied her.
But for Feng Tianyi to be able to change Baobao's mind on his first approach? She felt that her little buns had truly chosen him over her. They listened to him more than they did her. Tang Moyu felt conflicted and happy at the same time.
She had no idea how the devil managed to convince Baobao, but for him to actually promise and agree to go to school with Little Star…
This… Tang Moyu couldn't help but be overwhelmed with excitement and joy. Finally, her little prince agreed!
"Really? He agreed? You're not trying to pull my leg, are you?" Tang Moyu shook his arm, trying to get his attention while he tried to steep another set of tea in the kettle.
He let out a chuckle and smiled at her.
"Why would I lie to you? You can ask Baobao himself. He would definitely tell you that he's going to school with Little Star. So you better find them a good kindergarten, I want to check it out too, if you don't mind." He told her. After all, he only wanted the best for his woman and her little buns.
Tang Moyu eagerly nodded in agreement and pulled out her phone to give Lu Tianxin a call. Her cousin would have a good idea which school would be the best for her little buns. It wasn't too late to enroll them and prepare their necessities before the first day started.
Lu Tianxin agreed to help enroll her twins in the same kindergarten Lu Ziluo used to attend. The class wouldn't start until next week, so Tang Moyu would have enough time to prepare her twins for it.
Feng Tianyi couldn't suppress the smile that spread on his lips. Since their return from Nanchang City, this was the first time he'd seen Moyu smile genuinely. He hoped that her mood continued to improve as she'd been sulking for the past few days, refusing to talk about Yan Qiuyu and her dead twin brother.
There was no doubt that she still had questions about them, and the only people who could possibly give her answers would either be her stepmother or her own grandfather, which was inconvenient right now.
The pain of their betrayal and lies towards Tang Moyu were still fresh and Feng Tianyi didn't think she would like to see nor talk to them anytime soon. If Zhang Wuying still insisted on hurting Moyu, the devil wouldn't mind destroying that horrible woman's life himself.
Was she being arrogant because she had the Zhang family as her backing? She was probably overestimating herself, Feng Tianyi thought.
Dare to bully his woman when he was still around? Not gonna happen.
Once Tang Moyu was done talking to her cousin, she turned to face him.
"How did you manage to convince him? What trick did you use?"
Feng Tianyi poured himself a cup of fresh tea and smiled at her.
"No tricks, Moyu. I just asked him the truth and what he wanted. From there, I was able to work on a compromise."
It wasn't like her little buns totally didn't want to go to school, but Xiao Bao was just afraid that what happened in the past would repeat. He also didn't want him or Little Star to be bullied just because they didn't have a daddy, something Feng Tianyi found ridiculous in the first place, since no child should be looked down by anyone just because of something he couldn't control.
It wasn't the twins' fault that their mother lost her innocence to a stranger, and Tang Moyu's reasoning on why she never sought after their real father made sense. They were a product of a one night stand. Was that something that could be used to force a man to become a father to them?
Feng Tianyi didn't think so. For someone who had one night stand before… if the woman whom he'd slept before had suddenly appeared with a child, claiming his paternity, he would probably laugh out loud and throw money in her face, telling her to fuck off.
That would be a poor attempt to try to settle down with him. He would never believe any woman claiming he fathered their child.
The devil scowled at the thought. He really didn't like how he used to be before his accident. He was such a horrible person who didn't care for anyone but himself. No wonder some people were happy that he'd gotten his karma through that accident.
However, it would be different if Tang Moyu was the one knocking on his door, demanding to marry him for fathering her twins.
Ah, such wishful thinking. Feng Tianyi thought to himself. If only he was the father of her little buns, then perhaps he would be able to convince her to marry him.
Alas, even if he was, with Tang Moyu's personality, she would probably give him a good kick for attempting to tie her down through her children and the devil didn't want her to stay with him just because of the twins.
He wanted her to love him, accept him as he was, trust him as her other half. Not because of other reasons that would force her to rely on him. Feng Tianyi wanted her to want him willingly and he wouldn't want any woman as his wife if it wasn't her.
