Do You Think My Mother Ever Loved Me? 2
For someone as smart as Tianyi, he sure was too slow when it came to the empress and her little buns.
Perhaps, this should be fine for now. Tianyi and Moyu should nurture the love they had to each other first before she could reveal the truth about the little buns's father. The more her son and the empress understood each other, the more they would be able to love and protect her grandbabies.
There was no way in hell that Lady Song would allow her son to fail being a good father to Baobao and Little Star, no matter how they'd been conceived or what the previous circumstances were before their conception.
Little Star pouted when Feng Tianyi informed her about a slight delay of his return with their mother. But since he was with their Mommy, the little girl thought that she shouldn't worry.?Xiao Bao's mood finally lifted up the moment the phone was passed to him, his twin sister grinning back at their Mommy Fen.
"Mommy Fen, daddy said Yu Gege and I can sleepover here tonight. Is it true?" She asked excitedly, tugging her Mommy Feng's sleeve lightly.
"Indeed." Lady Song hummed in response. "I already have a room prepared for you and your brother."
In fact, when her son contacted her the other day about wanting to leave the little buns with her for a day as he planned to leave with Tang Moyu for a trip, Lady Song had already instructed her butler and her maids to prepare the rooms for her cute little grandbabies. She even set up a room where the two could play to their heart's content.
This pretty grandma wouldn't waste her chances to pamper and dote on her grandbabies. No matter what her son thought of it, from the moment she knew that they were blood related, Song Huifen had decided to be an active participant in the twins' lives.
She had taken this rare chance to observe the two little buns. The eldest of the two, Tang Feiyu was very much like his father when it comes to appearance, but his personality was closer to his mother, the empress. He was determined and a little perfectionist. Tang Feiyu tried so hard to make everything just right and could easily get frustrated when it didn't turn out his way.
On the other hand, Tang Feixiu looked like a mini version of her mother. She was a little stubborn girl with an outgoing personality. Her nickname, Little Star, must be because her smile was so bright and charming, people couldn't ignore the little girl even if they wanted to. She was just so cute and would no doubt grow up to become a great beauty like her mother.
In Lady Song's opinion, between Tianyi and the empress, there was no doubt that her son would spoil the twins while Tang Moyu would be the one to impose strict rules on the two. Not that he could blame him.
In this world, there's no one the little buns would listen to and obey other than their mother, who'd raise them alone.
Xiao Bao got the same amount of time his sister had with their daddy before returning the phone to their Mommy Fen, but he made sure to remind their Daddy that Mommy shouldn't touch any alcoholic drink during their trip and Daddy shouldn't leave their Mommy alone at any cost, which the devil easily agreed to.
"So are we to expect that you would be coming back past midnight or will you spend the night at Nanchang with Tang Moyu?" She asked her son.
What was a better way to nurture their feelings other than to push her stupid son to the empress? Even Song Huifen couldn't believe that there would be a woman who could put a leash on her son and could tame him.
At least the empress hadn't planned to use her son to her own advantage. Song Huifen was certain that if Tang Moyu even showed a hint of dishonesty towards Tianyi, no matter if Tianyi liked her or not, Lady Song would disapprove of their budding relationship.
Alas, the empress proved her wrong. In fact, Tang Moyu had reminded her so much of her past self and how resilient the empress was as she faced every obstacle fate had thrown her way.?Song Huifen could also see how much Tang Moyu adored her son even if she didn't voice it out. It was shown through her actions.
"That's what I'm thinking, Mother." Feng Tianyi glanced at his woman, who was sitting on the driver's seat with her eyes closed. She must be trying her best to calm the turbulence in her heart after meeting Lian Fang and finding out about her birth mother and twin brother.
Hopefully, they could find something good in Nanchang to improve her mood. Feng Tianyi didn't like seeing her like this and only wanted to see her smiling and content.
"Alright, then I'll make sure these little buns won't stay up past their bedtime. The Song family has a small villa in Nancheng. You don't have to check in a hotel and just use it. You already know where to get the keys if you're planning to stay the night there." She reminded him.
Feng Tianyi thanked his mother and hung up the call. Song Huifen then turned and smiled at the two children who were busy playing with their new toys inside the playroom she had set up for them.
