“Taog, duck!”

Taog dropped to the ground as another Nightwing flew overhead. Ateia took aim at it, shooting a glowing Light-infused arrow into the bat monster. It fell to the ground screeching, but still picked itself up. Ateia rolled across the ground and stabbed it with another arrow, then knocked the arrow and shot another bat. Meanwhile Taog picked himself off the ground just in time to stab at black-furred panther pouncing at him. Estrith held the line in the front, warding off three more of the panthers with her harpoon.

NSLICE-00P continued to infuse the group’s weapons with a fusion of Holy and Light Attribute mana while taking stock of the situation. She formed a Light Barrier to Taog’s side as a Dark Elemental shot a black bolt from the shadows. The boy was occupied with another panther while Ateia was cleaning up the bats, so NSLICE-00P fired a Light Beam at the monster. She didn’t have visual confirmation on it, so she targeted the highest concentration of Dark-attribute mana she could detect.
