A thick rusted scent hit Lena's nose the moment she entered the dull gray building. Rust or blood? Hard to tell with the state the place looked to be in.

"Hold on now Princess. I don't think that we are done talking things through." Jovani shut the door behind her. No need to lock it since there wasn't anyone to keep out.

"I don't care to spend time talking when there is still a lot to take care of and it's already so late." The front hall was devoid of furniture or any similar items. No place for her to take off or set anything down before she moved ahead.

"I know that you're impatient to get started. I just think that we should take the time to decide what should happen in regards to difficulties." The Vedova Nera boss moved ahead of the princess. He knew the place better than she did. It only made sense for him to flip the switch to lightening up the rather gloomy area.

"Even if they turn out to be unwilling to answer any questions, I don't see that being a problem. This is one of the areas where I likely have more experience than you." Jovani paused for a second as the words sank in.

"So over anything else, this is why you didn't want Sammy to be here, isn't it?" Lena stopped in her tracks.

"I don't want him to be here because it's not safe. Already shown by the fucking psych of a cousin you have." She tilted her head as she turned to face the other.

"Did you expect me to have some other kind of answer to that question?" The look on Jovani's face told her so. Rather than replying, he simply smiled at her.

"Let's go ahead then. We only have a little bit of time left before we should think about leaving here again." He continued to take the lead ahead of her.

They stopped at one of the side doors rather than continuing down the long hall. Jovani knocked twice before he opened the door.

"At ease. I brought someone along with me who came here to have a little fun with our guests." He shifted to the side to allow Lena to enter ahead of him. The three men inside relaxed the moment that they saw their boss."Why did you bring me here? This isn't the room I want to be in." The Vedova Nera boss gently pushed her in the rest of the way before closing the door behind them.

"First, I think you should see what you're going to be dealing with. Second, I'm sure you have a few things that you want to leave here. Blood stains are rather hard to get out of some items." Jovani motioned to her jacket as he made this comment.

Between the desks and the other three men, the space felt rather cramped but they somehow managed to make it work. The three men keeping watched shifted to the far end of the room, emptying the chairs should their boss or the girl want to take a seat.

"You don't think that my jacket is made to be stained by the blood of my enemies?" Despite the joke, Lena began to unzip it.

"It's been put through a lot worse than this and lived to tell the tale. I highly doubt these men will need much bloodshed before they'll speak."

"I'm sure it has. I just didn't think that we would have much time to stop by a dry cleaner who would take care of it before heading back to the hospital." The three men exchanged looks as the two newcomers bantered. It wasn't often their boss brought someone in who could hit back against what he threw at them. There was only one person the girl could've been.

"No dry cleaner needed. I'm sure that you have some bleach laying around here somewhere. At the right dilution, it will do the job without ruining the jacket." Lena placed it over the top of one of the rolling chairs. Folding it in such a way that it wouldn't fall off.

"Now though. Which is the one here that I should be paying attention?" The princess's attention shifted to the security camera system with over ten screens. Half of them showed rooms where the obvious 'guests' as Jovani chose to refer to them were held.

"I think that one over there would prove to be of most interest to you. The quietest of the group but the one most likely to be the leader." He indicated to one of the bottom screens. The camera showed a rather stalking-looking bald man. Calm-faced but with a dark glint in his eyes.

"Put up quite a bit of a fight but didn't have much to say for himself once we got ahold of him." That was more than enough for the princess to know where she would be starting.

"I don't think that there is anything left to be discussed then." Lena didn't even wait for Jovani to reply before she turned and left the door they'd come through moments before.

"I swear that you're still getting ahead of yourself princess. We don't even have everything together and ready yet." Jovani called out to the princess who didn't even bother stopping.

"I take it then you can get that ready while I go become more familiarized with the guest I will be keeping company for the next hour." The Vedova Nera boss wanted to object but knew it wouldn't do any good. Opting instead to sigh before going back into the room. His men could take care of putting things together. There were more important things he needed to take care of.

A bolt lock kept the door closed. Simply enough to open from the outside but sturdy enough to keep anyone in. Not that the guest could leave in his current position. Arms tied tightly behind his back with one leg tied to the corresponding chair leg.

Despite the low light in the room, the dark bruises on his face were still visible against the otherwise pale, unblemished skin. He didn't even lift his head or stir when the princess entered the room.

"I take it that you know who I am?" Lena questioned but didn't get too close to the other. Deciding to first observe the other before taking action.

"..." he didn't even so much as look at her. Keeping his star on the ground.

"You do realize that silence is only going to make things harder for you. You might've gotten a reprieve until this point. That ends now though." Circling the chair, the princess took the other man's size in. Just by look, it was obvious he'd been well trained. Perhaps too well.

He lifted his head slightly but otherwise ignored her. Now though, she could see that his half-lidded eyes were following her every movement.

"Do you have anything you want to see before we get started?" Lena took her time rolling back the sleeves of her black shirt. Blood wouldn't show easily on the fabric but the tightness would limit her mobility. Something she wanted to avoid.

Her head still pounded which only made her usually short patience almost non-existent.

"Unwilling. No problem. I think that I have a few things that will make you more willing to speak."

Almost as if on cue, the door behind her opened again. Only a covered cart was wheeled in before the door became closed again.

The fact that she couldn't see what lay underneath the dark cloth someone how increased the anticipation in the room until almost became palpable.

"I suppose that we can let the fun begin." Lena grabbed the cloth, barely able to contain her excitement over what would be revealed.

It had been quite some time since she felt such a strong blood lust surge through her veins.
