Chapter 64   The Culprit Was Found

The group of students had not returned to the principal’s office but rather went into the conference room of the complex. All of them had determined looks painted across their faces. It’s as if today’s events had not fazed them.

Yao Tang saw the plug that had been pulled out and thrown to the side. Immediately, she picked it up, reconnected it to the power source, and sat down. The bright screen reflected her face, emphasizing the wicked glint in her bloodshot eyes. It’s time she got to

work.

The others stood behind the young girl, curious to what she had planned to do.

As soon as she clicked on one of the applications, she immediately started typing. Her fingers looked as if they were flying across the pages. Multiple lines of code were shown across the screen, but she didn’t seem the slightest bit fazed. Within a few minutes, she had already detected the code.

Cheng Yan narrowed his eyes. Interesting.

The principal had to keep himself from gasping. He had always known that Yao Tangwas powerful, but he didn’t expect her to be this intelligent.

Meng Yang was also surprised. He knew that the girl was a genius and that her medical skills were off-the-charts. What he didn’t know was that the medical genius he had for a friend was also a computer expert.

After she saw the virus, the young woman stood up and made a call, walking to the side of the room.

She was practically shrouded with a cold aura. Her exquisite face had turned murderous, scary enough to drive the birds away.

Cheng Yan had never seen her like this before. It was frightening: Everyone immediately averted their gazes as they struggled to contain their shudders. Despite this, Cheng Yan didn’t turn away. He gazed at the young woman with deep meaning in his eyes. His emotionless features morphed into one of interest as he regarded the woman with a smile. There was something about her that he just couldn’t shake off.

As soon as the call had been connected, Yao Tang said, “I’ve sent you something. Help me find out who sent the virus.”

It was late at night on Yun Tian’s end. Unhappy that he’d been woken up, he snapped, “It’s the middle of the night. Couldn’t you do this yourself?”

“It’s not convenient for me.”

Hearing the iciness of her voice, the man swung his feet onto the carpet. “Alright, give me a few minutes.”

“Hm.” She hung up the phone and sat down by the conference table.

It didn’t take long for her to receive his message. “I found out who the culprit is. The girl couldn’t have found a decent hacker. Since he was afraid that something might happen to him, he had secretly taken her phone. I’ll have it sent to you immediately.”

Yao Tang stared at the girl in the picture. Her eyebrows had been slightly raised. While she couldn’t see any defining pictures, she could tell that the woman held herself in high regard. She was arrogant as she was unruly-evil, but willful.

This time, however, there was a hint of nervousness. The woman crossed her arms over her chest, tightening the coat hanging on her shoulders. Her gaze was averted as if she was watching someone from afar.

Her gaze immediately landed on the mole at the end of the girl’s eyebrows. Her eyes flashed.

Ruan Qing.

The students had not been released yet, and every single one of the advisers was standing guard for his respective class.

Compared to the restlessness of Class 20, Class 1 was quiet as usual.

Luo Hua stood by the classroom door, still unable to recover from Yang Rong’s speech. He sighed. While he had admired the girl’s bravery, he still found it difficult to bear as it didn’t get rid of Yao Tang. It seemed that his happiness had been foiled yet again.

Just then, the grade director approached him.

He straightened his back and nodded in greeting, “Director.”

“Call Ruan Qing out.”

“Ruan Qing?” He blinked. “Is there something you need her to do?”

The director wasn’t so sure himself. Even then, he had a theory of what truly happened in the auditorium. “Don’t ask too many questions, and just bring her up.”

The same thought floated at the back of Luo Hua’s mind as he poked his head into the classroom. “Ruan Qing,” he called out. “Come out for a moment.”

Ruan Qing lowered her head.

It had been more than an hour since the incident happened. Yet, there had been no news about it. The longer it dragged on, the more guilty she felt. She took a deep breath.

Now that she had heard her class teacher call out her name, she jumped from her seat in both surprise and fear.

“T-Teacher,” she stuttered, her voice tense. “What seems to be the matter?”

Luo Hua didn’t bother saying a thing as he turned to step out of the classroom. Seeing that he wasn’t in the mood for chitchat, she followed from behind him. As soon as she did, he turned, “Go with the director. There’s something that they need to speak to you about.”

“All right.” Her eyes flashed.

The Director immediately brought the young girl out of the classroom building and into the backdoors of the complex.

Ruan Qing could already feel her head start to hurt. Cold sweat rolled down to her back as she shoved her trembling hands into her pockets. It’s going to be fine, she had told herself over and over again, yet it didn’t seem to stop her legs from growing weak.
