Moyu, I’m Good at Other Aspects Too 2
She slipped off her shoes at the doorway and silently sauntered to the kitchen, where the scent was coming from. Her stomach grumbled in hunger the moment she took a seat on one of the stools at the kitchen counter.
"Sorry," she muttered, ashamed that she couldn't hide her hunger from Feng Tianyi. "I haven't eaten anything since lunch. Please don't tell Xiao Bao I missed my dinner."
It was just that she was so swamped with work back at her office, she barely had time to grab a bite. Of course, Cheng Ning had brought her some food, but she didn't bother to touch it knowing that it wouldn't satisfy her as much as Feng Tianyi's dishes would.
"What's to apologize for, Moyu? I'm the only one who can hear it anyway," Feng Tianyi chuckled. "I'm the only person who's allowed to see the empress like this." He teased her.
"You shouldn't have bothered preparing one for me." She told Feng Tianyi who had taken it upon himself to reheat the dinner for her sake. "But that looks so good."
"I have nothing to do anyway. Xiao Bao and Little Star already went to bed. They were too worn out to wait for you to come home." The devil told her before serving her dinner in front of her.
"Thanks!" Tang Moyu muttered before starting to eat her dinner with such eagerness. This was one of the best parts of her day, aside from coming home to see her children; to eat the meal Feng Tianyi solely prepared for her and her little buns.
"You look cute when you eat." Feng Tianyi told her once he placed a glass of water near her. She had this cute expression on her face whenever she was about to eat without reservations. Far from the stoic and impassive, cold empress that everyone usually associated with.
Tang Moyu hummed but didn't bother to correct him. Aside from numbers, food was something she had interest in. She liked to end her day with good food and some desserts, a common habit she shared with her little buns.
"Is the renovations in the garden done, or do we need to wait a little more?"
Tang Moyu changed the topic, remembering how her little buns had insisted they should start planting the next crops for the summer season soon.
"En. They completed the work this afternoon. I made sure that they set up high railings near the pond as a safety measure so we won't have to worry about the children falling in while we're not looking. They managed to fix the waterfall and unclogged the pipes." Feng Tianyi said as he opened the fridge to take a slice of blueberry cheesecake he made earlier with her little buns.
Tang Moyu's eyes lit up and eyed the delicious cake in front of her.
"Hmm, delicious dinner plus sweet desserts made by my babies? What have I done to deserve all of this?" She said before digging in her sweet dessert.
Feng Tianyi laughed at that.
"I'm glad you are liking it. I was a little worried because you were so busy that you couldn't even eat properly at work." He said, accompanying the empress as she ate.
Once Tang Moyu was done with her dinner, she washed the plates and silverwares they used before they moved to the living area, allowing Tang Moyu to relax for a while before going back to the main house to retire for the night.
Feng Tianyi moved himself from his wheelchair and sat at the opposite end of the couch before taking Tang Moyu's feet from the floor and pulled them onto his lap.
"What are you doing?" She asked, but instead of pulling away, she adjusted her position on the couch and laid down on her back.
"Giving you a massage, what else." Feng Tianyi said before pressing his thumb gently at the arch of her right foot.
"Ah, I see that your talents are not only limited to cooking good food and writing compelling books." Tang Moyu let out a low moan from the back of her throat as he started to work on pressing his thumb along other parts of her foot. "That feels so good, Tianyi."
Her sultry words stirred something in him, his eyes darkening with desire as he looked at her flushed face.
"I assure you, Moyu. I'm good at other aspects too." He said with a mischievous grin. "But I'm sure you aren't quite ready for that." He added.
The empress looked away, still wasn't used to his teasing. It's been a week since their confession to each other at the hospital and she was starting to adjust to his unbashful attempts to flirt with her.
Still, she couldn't find the right words to explain this to her little buns without making them feel upset over it. Tang Moyu wasn't sure how her little buns would react to the fact that she started dating their Uncle Ji without consulting them first.
"What are you thinking?" She heard Feng Tianyi ask as he moved on to her other foot.
"I haven't told Baobao and Little Star about us." She admitted easily, knowing that if she didn't, he would insist on her spilling what was bothering her at this moment.
Feng Tianyi's hands stopped as he arched a brow at her.
"You haven't? Do you want me to explain it to them?" He asked again, but he didn't think those cute little buns would be opposed to the idea of him dating their mother.
"No, I'll do it," she declined his offer. It's better for her to come clean to her children herself before they start misunderstanding her or the situation.
